This is what we ate for breakfast every morning. Sometimes there was fruit and yogurt too. Notice the guava jam!
The food was pretty good in Nicaragua. A lot of people got stomachaches and diarrhea but those were the weaklings and I was never affected. bwahahaha jp jp. I got a stomach ache once or twice but that’s it thankfully.
The value of my teeth went up, as they were getting cleaned with bottled water.
For lunch I usually ate rice, beans, vegetables, fried plantain (banana) and this IMPOSTER TOFU!  The first day we landed in Nicaragua and went to eat lunch, this mysterious tofu sat deliciously on my plate. I put it in my mouth expecting a soft silky, pleasantly bland tasting bean curd. But instead it was dense and heavily flavored. Salty. Wooahh I’ve never tasted this side of you, Tofu! So delicious! And if no one told me, I still would be thinking that Nicaraguans cook tofu better than Chinese people. The secret behind it all is that : it’s actually cheese!!
